Everyday Golf Tour – WAGR Tournament Rules


1. Tournament Management

The tournament is organized and governed by the Everyday Golf Tour Tournament Committee. All decisions made by the committee are final and binding.


2. Eligibility

  • Open to all amateur golfers with a valid golf license or handicap certificate.

  • Handicap requirement: 10.0 or lower. Players exceeding this must request an exemption via info@everydaygolftour.com.

  • To earn WAGR points, players must be registered with the World Amateur Golf Ranking and meet all relevant performance criteria.


3. Registration & Entry Fees

  • Registration: Submit entries through the Everyday Golf Tour website or via email.

  • Confirmation: Entry is confirmed only once full payment is received—no later than 3 days before the event.

  • Late Entries: Subject to availability. Contact us to inquire.


4. Payment Policy

  • Entry fees must be paid in full at least 3 days before the tournament.

  • Unpaid entries after this deadline may be removed from the event lineup.


5. Practice Rounds

  • Practice rounds are not included in the entry fee.

  • Players must email sales@pgsportsacademy.com to book practice rounds. 
     

6. WAGR & Tournament Rules

  • All tournaments adhere to the R&A Rules of Golf, plus any local rules.

  • WAGR points are awarded based on performance and field strength.

  • A minimum of 6.5 WAGR points is required to become ranked.

  • Players are responsible for understanding WAGR regulations.


7. Prizes & WAGR Points

  • Winners will earn WAGR points (if not already ranked).

  • Additional points are distributed based on final standings and field strength.


8. Caddies

  • Caddies are allowed.

  • Caddies may not offer rule-related advice or assist more than one player.

  • Coaches may serve as caddies but must not provide coaching during play.

  • Disruptive caddie behavior may result in player disqualification.


9. Tournament Rules

  • Distance Measuring Devices: Allowed, but slope/elevation features must be disabled.

  • Scorecards: Must be returned within 30 minutes of completing the round—late returns result in disqualification.

  • Tee Times: Published by 20:00 the day before. Players must follow any updated schedules due to delays or re-groupings.


10. Pace of Play

  • Rounds should be completed within 4.5 hours.

  • Shot time limits: 40 seconds per shot; 50 seconds for first-to-play on par 3s.

  • Penalties for slow play may be enforced.


11. Withdrawal & Cancellation Policy

  • Withdrawals must be emailed to info@everydaygolftour.com.

  • Refunds:

    • 11+ days before event: 100% refund

    • 9–10 days: 50% refund

    • Within 8 days: No refund

  • A €30 administration fee applies to all cancellations.

  • Injury within 8 days? With a valid medical certificate, fees may be credited toward a future event.

  • Any processing fees (bank, card, PayPal) will be deducted from refunds or credits.


12. Conduct

  • Unsportsmanlike behavior may result in penalties or disqualification.

  • Verbal abuse or misconduct towards staff, venues, or sponsors may incur a €100–€500 fine.

  • Final decisions on misconduct rest with the tournament committee.


13. Coaching

  • Coaching is strictly prohibited during tournament rounds—even by caddies who are also coaches.


14. Weather & Course Conditions

  • In the event of bad weather or unforeseen issues, the committee may reschedule or alter the format.

  • At least 18 holes must be completed for the tournament to be official.

  • No refunds will be issued for shortened or canceled rounds.


15. Amendments

  • The Tournament Committee reserves the right to update rules or conditions at any time.

  • By registering, players accept all current and future amendments.
